A Challenge For Calvary Chapel Pastors to Take a Stand Against Apostasy

The Bible teaches that a one-world religion will be a characteristic of the Last Days. While Jesus Christ is preparing His bride, Satan, God’s adversary, is preparing the crowning of the harlot.
This counterfeit harlot “bride” is being set up to prepare the way for the counterfeit “Christ.” This anti-Christ church will come in the name of the Church of Jesus Christ. This is the scenario that the Bible defines.
We are seeing this happening right before our eyes, yet so few see it. Is this largely due to Christian leaders who are blinded by their pride (Obadiah 1:3); and, hiding behind their accomplishments, they are driven by this pride, refusing to listen to those who are trying to warn them? Do these shepherds really know they are pulling the wool over the eyes of the very sheep they are supposed to be protecting?
This short commentary is another effort to warn those whom we know and love who are being seduced by Satan’s plan. Satan is a world schemer, and he has done this through the ages. There are many ways and means that Satan uses to seduce those who have believed and those who have never believed.
When Does a Shepherd Warn?
A true shepherd always warns his flock when danger is near. Imagine what happens when the shepherd falls asleep. Like a shepherd, pastors are to warn their sheep. Not only do they feed them, but they never let wolves come into their midst. Wolves can look harmless if they are wearing sheep’s clothing. The Bible warns that this is one of the ways that Satan works. Let us not forget that he comes as an “angel of light,” and his ministers come as “ministers of righteousness” as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11.
Just like shepherds need to be alert to protect their flocks of sheep, so too pastors need to protect their “flocks” of believers. However, this doesn’t always happen - especially when many pastors look to a single pastor who, in essence, has replaced Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ should be our “good shepherd.” When we put a man between Jesus and ourselves we are only asking for trouble.
If there was ever a time for Christian pastors to be discerning about the invasion of false doctrine, it’s now. In previous commentaries, we have been warning about this very problem. Apostasy doesn’t happen overnight. It sneaks up, one compromising step after the next, and it is a symptom that something has gone very wrong. When many pastors are caught up in following one man and the decisions he makes, this can be the recipe for disaster and the beginning of a cult. Humans are humans, and God is God. Once more, check out history, men are fallible and can easily be misled. Pride is a snare that any one of us can fall prey to, and it is a dangerous trap that we should resist and flee from.
Elders are to be part of local church government, keeping pastors true to the Word of God. When elders are forced to be puppets, they are nothing more than objects of manipulation. God’s design for true biblical leadership is abandoned for the “Moses model.” Remember, Moses disobeyed God, and as a result, he never made it into the Promised Land.
How Is Calvary Chapel Being Led Down the Road to Rome?
The evidence is growing that Calvary Chapel discernment is fading away. Some wonder if this has something to do with the lack of discernment in the formative years of Calvary Chapel. If an organization starts out with no discernment and doesn’t correct that, doesn’t it make sense that it will not have discernment in the future? As we pointed out in an earlier commentary bad roots produce unhealthy fruit.
While many sheep are still blindly following what they believe is biblical Christianity, the influence of Rome on Calvary Chapel is becoming clearer every day to those who have “eyes to see.” Those who do see what is happening are disheartened to watch the warning signs appear almost daily, and yet still there is silence from those who could speak up and make a difference. If you count up all the senior Calvary Chapel pastors, all the associate and assistant Calvary Chapel pastors, and all the Calvary Chapel youth pastors throughout the world, you are probably looking at nearly four thousand men. Yet, to our knowledge, not one Calvary Chapel pastor is publicly challenging the organization to whom they have placed their trust, their affiliation, and their commitment. We are not talking about private conversations going on behind the scenes – we are talking about public denouncement of deliberate apostasy. The silence of these nearly four thousand men is deafening, and the results of this silence is that many sheep are confused and being led astray with a false sense of security that everything is ok because their pastors say nothing.
Yesterday, in a discussion with a retired Calvary Chapel pastor, I was told that Understand The Times is confusing the sheep by presenting the evidence that apostasy is happening around them. Does this mean that we should ignore the facts and cover up apostasy by becoming silent as the others are doing?
When God showed Nathan sin, he went to David and told him. I am sure it was not easy for Nathan. Has biblical truth changed? Are we to cover our eyes and walk away and say, “all is well”? If that is the case, then we invite skeptics to show us the chapter and verse.

Commentary by Roger Oakland: Another spirit or the Holy Spirit?
The Bible teaches there is another spirit, another gospel and another Jesus? If God is God, why would such deception exist? The answer is very simple. Satan, the father of lies, is the great deceiver who wants to be God. His plan is to deceive the world in the name of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, if the Spirit of God leads the lost to the Son of God, could it be that that “another spirit” is how the devil leads the whole world to the antichrist? These are questions that every Christian should think about, especially in the Last Days when deception is on the increase.
For some time now, I have been thinking about these things. How does Satan deceive, and should a Christian be aware of how Satan works? The Bible is full of references that warn believers to wake up and to expose darkness.
Further, the concept of checking out the roots of a tree has been constantly on my mind. What does it means to check out the roots of a tree with reference to Christianity? Some time ago, a friend of mine gave me an illustration he believed had an important spiritual implication. The illustration was that of a simple drawing of a tree that was filled with ravens sitting on the branches. While some branches represented biblical truths, other branches represented teachings that had infiltrated the body of Christ and were clearly devious plans of Satan.
As for the roots of the tree, some of the roots were embedded in healthy soil and thus provided essential nutrients to the tree, while other roots were embedded in soil that was polluted with poison, and of course, did much harm to the tree. Further, the illustration showed that this tree was a hiding place for the ravens.
I will never forget this illustration as this is what is happening to fellowships and entire denominations within the Christian church today. Bad roots eventually produce bad fruit. While this should be obvious to those who say they believe the Bible, that’s not always the case. The human beings, who make up the tree, cannot see because they are part of the tree, and they have become blinded. It would be easy to recover from this blindness if they would only turn to the Word of God to gain understanding and discernment.
Christianity is full of examples of tree-like denominations full of ravens because Satan is the master deceiver, and he knows that men follow men instead of Jesus. While the Roman Catholic Church claims to be the Mother of All Churches we know this is not true. Jesus said His church would be built upon the true cornerstone. And He is that cornerstone. [4]. When we follow men instead of Jesus Christ, we have the ingredients for a spiritual disaster. Such is the case that we will try to analyze in the rest of this commentary.
A Counterfeit spirit is not the Holy Spirit?
Wouldn’t it make sense that if the Holy Spirit points the lost to the truth, then a counterfeit spirit called “another spirit” points those who are lost toward deception? This is the devil’s plan as recorded in the Bible. In our research, we have discovered this is one of Satan’s favorite strategies. How many have believed they have been led by the Spirit of God when later it becomes obvious that they had been seduced by a spirit of deception? This is why it is so important to have discernment, which only comes from knowing God’s Word and allowing His Spirit to lead us.
For example, I have known people who believed they were being blessed by the Spirit of God because they laughed hysterically, barked like a dog, slithered on the floor like a snake, or even clucked like a chicken. At first, they said they were not sure if it was God that was causing them to behave that way. Their line of thought went like this: if it was God, they did not want to miss out on what God was doing; thus they were willing to take the risk.
As you can see this line of reasoning is not reasonable. What if it was not God that was causing them to behave in these unusual ways? Would that mean they had been deceived by Satan? This is a serious situation
History shows the danger there is in following a man or woman who claims to be a Christian because he or she has an ability of making people “feel” like they are being influenced by the Holy Spirit.
On a number of occasions, I have heard testimonies from people who were first-hand witnesses of the “Jesus Movement.” They give testimony that one of the leaders had the ability to make them feel like the “spirit” was “flowing all over them.” The person who is speaking in the following clip states there would never have been a Calvary Chapel movement or a Vineyard Movement without Lonnie Frisbee who acted very strangely:
Here is another example of a testimony from a person who claims that Lonnie Frisbee had an “anointing” called a mantle. Today, there are those who believe there is about to be another Jesus movement and that this so-called anointing that Frisbee had is about to be released.
Now, here are the facts. Feelings can be very deceptive. Feelings or emotions should never be relied upon for determining truth and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Believing that one can receive a transferable anointing from a man or an object is nothing more than witchcraft. Following a man under the influence of drugs is not following Jesus and His Word.
Many who were under such an influence felt all kinds of things. They even saw things that were in their minds as the result of LSD. How much confidence would you put in a person who said he was a convert of Jesus Christ who was stoned Saturday night and then preached Sunday morning? Is it possible that “another Jesus” was often represented during this former Jesus movement?
Can Bad Roots Produce Bad Fruit?
While God saves sinners from all sin, does this mean that sin can be covered up by ignoring that sin never happened? Further, there is another piece of evidence that needs to be considered. It is possible to start out right and to end up wrong, isn’t it? What if a group becomes so proud of themselves they refuse to be corrected. Remember, pride comes before a fall.
Now that we are living in a time of great deception predicted by the Bible as the Last Days, is it possible that the ravens are coming home to roost in the dead branches of the trees? Could those branches have died because the roots absorbed poison by certain false doctrines that crept in unawares? Would the dead branches be the perfect nesting place for the enemies of God who are out to destroy all those who truly follow Jesus Christ?
Some time ago, after doing some research and gathering of the facts, I became suspicious because of some of the testimonies that I heard about the roots of the Jesus Movement. Here is one example that you can listen to and watch and see for yourself:
Furthermore, let us consider the connection of Kathryn Kuhlman with the Jesus Movement. She was a promoter of the Protestant Charismatic movement and in ecumenical unity with Rome. Does that sound an alarm? How can someone who has partnered with Rome be part of a true Jesus Movement?
Anyone who has done their research knows that the Jesuit plan is to bring the separated brethren back to the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Jesus is the Eucharistic Jesus and must be worshiped in a container called a monstrance. (See Another Jesus? A number of things do not line up. Would those who have discernment please stand up? Please watch the following video clip of Lonnie Frisbee and Kathyrn Kuhlman:

So, the question is this: are we living in the very days that the Bible predicts this will happen? Could it be that another spirit is preparing the way for another Christ, and another gospel is masquerading to prepare the way for the harlot?
This is a time to check your faith and test all that you believe with the Scriptures. Finally, remember the tree with the ravens in the branches. That would mean that this proposed another Jesus movement would be the equivalent of “Another Jesus” movement also called the Eucharistic Reign of Jesus.

For some time, Understand The Times has been warning pastors of churches that were formerly considered to be Protestant and evangelical about the spiritual deception that is currently underway and seducing them into the One World Religion. As time has passed, it seems that these leaders no longer consider themselves Protestant or evangelical. They are ecumenical. Instead of protesting against the rule of Rome, they are now actually partners with Rome and even promoting a globalist Dominionist plan to transform the world in what they believe is a great revival or great awakening. While many innocent sheep follow these pastors and leaders and do not realize what is happening, the Lord is calling watchmen and watchwomen to sound the alarm. The question is, how many are listening?

| These watchmen and watchwomen are concerned about apostate leaders who should know better, but they are saying and doing nothing to warn about the apostasy. In fact they are promoting apostasy as if it is not happening. While the sheep may consider their leaders to be supporters of the gospel and therefore evangelical, it is apparent one cannot be on the road to Rome and also be promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ that we find in the Scriptures. Either you are for Jesus Christ and against apostasy, or you are against Jesus Christ and for apostasy. Ecumenism and joining hands with the world religions is not of God. There is one God, Jesus Christ our Creator and our Redeemer.As time passes, there are fewer warning about how close we are to the demise of biblical Christianity. Many who once were blowing the trumpet have now either gone to sleep or they have forgotten what they once believed to be important. The Counter Reformation started by Rome and the Jesuits continues today unnoticed by the apostate churches that are uniting with Rome for many different reasons. They have lost their way as they have been sidetracked by a number of things – love of money, power, and prestige. They have even changed their view on the Word of God and what it teaches about the return of Christ. Some pastors say that Jesus did not even warn about apostasy as a sign of His soon return. They claim that a P.E.A.C.E. Plan and a One World Religion is much more important and we should spend our time and energy working together to solve our social problems.  We have personally been involved in trying to wake up church leaders who are leading their flocks astray. Either they know they are deceived and are covering up what they are doing, or they are ignorant of what they are doing and just deluded. Either way, our experience has not been good. These leaders do not want the light to shine upon the very darkness they have allowed to creep in. Instead of checking and correcting the course in which they travel, they spread lies and rumors about those who are confronting them with the truth. They do exactly what the religious leaders did in Jeremiah’s day. They ignore the message and proclaim that the messengers have lost their minds. While we have been threatened by pastors who have told us to “shut up” and that God “hates us for dividing the brethren,” let me publically state that dividing the brethren is not our desire or intention. While we realize we cannot judge the motives since only God sees the heart, it is biblical to be inspectors of fruit. What may look like good fruit may not always be good fruit. A pastor can appear full of love and beaming with smiles behind the pulpit, but in his office and behind his desk, he can exhibit a personality like a despot. So which pastor is the real pastor – Pastor A or Pastor B? Paul said it very clearly and with words of warning with regard to how some spiritual leaders can appear: But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.[1] The Great Delusion and the Lie The Scriptures reveal that the Last Days will be a time of great deception and even strong delusion. 2 The reason for this is simple. Satan, the god of this world, has a plan to deceive the world and the church in the name of the Savior. In order for this to happen, the greatest deception in the history of mankind must be pulled off in the Last Days. Those who once believed the truth will fall away from the truth. Worse than that, the truth will be replaced by the lie which apparently the whole world will believe. The world and the world’s religions will also be duped into embracing a One World Government and a One World economy headed up by the antichrist. The Bible forewarns this will happen, a plan authored by man and inspired by Satan. This best can be described as the three-legged stool or 6-6-6 Plan that we read about in Revelation chapter fourteen. For those who have followed the plans of Rick Warren and Tony Blair, it should be obvious this plan is underway. Those who warn others about this plan are called the “resistors” and are being silenced, removed, or ridiculed for their stance against the “new thing” that “God” is doing.  As one would expect, this plan would not just happen overnight or in a couple of weeks. In fact as one looks at an overview of Church history, we can see there have been numerous attempts by Satan to wipe out those who have held to biblical faith. If he can convince people to believe they are followers of the biblical and historic Jesus when instead they are set up to follow a man who claims that he is Jesus Christ, the ultimate delusion will have been pulled off. This is what the Bible says will happen in the Last Days. The best way of understanding Satan’s agenda is to analyze this spiritual deception in light of what we call the Counter Reformation. While we do not intend to lay out all the details here, understand that Satan uses human pawns to pull off his bidding. History bears this out. If humans are going to be used as pawns in an organized way then someone or some organization must be involved. Again, one needs to be a student of church history to see the whole picture. Most church goers today know nothing about church history. They know nothing about the many who gave their lives because they were dedicated to the truth – this martyrdom of saints began with the disciples and continued right on past the reformation. Most today know nothing of the masses that were slaughtered by the Roman Catholic Church during the Counter Reformation or the Inquisition. They are clueless that the Counter Reformation is still underway today and that the hope and final goal of the Counter Reformation is to have the world bow to the pope in Rome as the pontiff who represents Jesus Christ here on earth and establishes the ‘Kingdom of God” here on earth with the “presence” of Jesus. The players presently playing this ecumenical role are the Jesuits. Lighthouse Trails and Understand The Times recently wrote a commentary exposing the Jesuit plan. These clever deceivers have a calculated plan to win back the separated brethren to the Mother of All Churches in Rome. When we read the Bible, we know there must be a global religion for peace that embraces all religions in the name of the Savior. If Bible believing churches are not going to stand up and warn about this deception, they will eventually become part of the deception. Writing the book Faith Undone was an attempt to warn this generation what is going on as the emerging church clearly and cleverly devised a plan to bring this ecumenical unity about.  The Effects of the Emerging Church Faith Undone explained how the road to Rome is being established through the introduction of mysticism, contemplative practices, and outright Peter Drucker and Rick Warrenism; but writing and publishing this book has not been without a high cost - since the book was released, an all out assault from Satan has mounted to stop its warning. Faith is truly being undone, and the Word of God is under attack; those who love the Word of God can see it even though they are only a remnant. Jesus asked the question that is recorded in Luke 18:8: “When the Son of Man returns will He find faith?” If this is the indicator of how bad the deception will be, what should those who still have biblical faith be doing? is underway. We believe this is the case. Pastors and leaders who were once looked up to as great men of God are showing signs that they are willingly following various avenues to Rome. Whether they know they are being deceived or not may be difficult to prove because they often keep silent. However their silence is deafening. It is hard to understand how a born again Christian can show any support whatsoever toward the ecumenical apostasy. If you are not publically against ecumenical apostasy, could your silence possibly be an indicator that you are likely for it? Many pastors and Christian figures are forming alliances they would never have before. At one time, these pastors warned the sheep to look out for dominionist political/religious agendas and to remain steadfast boldly proclaiming the gospel according to the Scriptures. Now, the picture is much different - these pastors who say nothing about ecumenism allow themselves to be infiltrated by spokespersons whom they never would have allowed in their pulpits before. Some of these bad alliances are made with men who are knowingly aligned with Rome and the Roman Catholic Dominionist agenda to take over America and the world for “Jesus.” While this happens, many of the sheep don’t see. The wool is being pulled over their eyes. The shepherds have become wolves in sheep’s clothing. Another gospel and another Jesus is being prepared because there is another spirit at work. This counterfeit plan looks so good to those who do not have discernment that they cannot and will not say anything about it.  Worse yet, there are leaders of churches who claim “God is with them” while all the time they are fleecing the flock.Sheep, because they look to men and not to Jesus, believe whatever their pastors tell them (or does not tell them). Satan’s strategy is to get men to follow men and their methods and movements rather than Jesus and His Word. It’s the perfect setup for the final delusion when the world follows a man who is embodied by Satan. Perhaps you are one of those who is aware of the trends that clearly show biblical Christianity is under attack. Maybe you have even tried to warn your pastor or the Board of your church, and they were not interested in hearing what you had to say. Over the past few years we have heard countless stories from people spread throughout the vast spectrum of church denominations who all have similar stories. Many have been asked to leave their churches because they would not participate in ecumenism or the contemplative eastern mystical practices that lead to the ecumenical delusion. While there are few signs at present that indicate help is on the way, the one thing we know is that Jesus said the Church of Jesus Christ will not be defeated. Jesus said “Upon this rock I will build my church.” The rock was not and is not Peter whom the Roman Catholics say was the first pope. The rock is the true foundation of the Church that is faith in Jesus Christ alone. While I do not claim to know the future when it comes to all that will happen in the present church, I believe it is safe to predict something that few are predicting: the death of the churches that operate like corporations is just on the horizon. While this may sound foolish to those who have built up their invincible empires which include properties all over the world, radio stations and radio networks, many are detecting that something is terribly wrong. These churches have become nothing more than big businesses driven by greed. The pastors are the CEOs. Their boards are made up of puppets or “yes” men who have little or no power. Many of these large institutions have been allowing sin in the camp for a long time. You’ve probably read about some of this on the Internet. What kinds of sins? Sexual misconduct brushed under the carpet and not dealt with; mishandling of donor funds; mishandling of and even illegal financial ventures overlooked and sometimes even encouraged; spiritual abuse against church members by pastors and elders who have become arrogant and proud, and so on. But I believe God is going to judge the house of the Lord before He judges the world. Scripture tells us that the things done in secret will be exposed and brought to the light. Just like it says in the Bible, your sins will find you out. When this happens and the lines are drawn between the dots, many sheep will be so devastated they will not be able to cope. How tragic. The men they trusted in have let them down. Come Out of Her This is a time in history that every professing Christian leader and pastor should take very soberly. It is a time for true humility and true repentance. If there is not humility and repentance, Christian pastors and leaders need to know – your sin will indeed find you out. Better to willingly humble yourself and repent than to wait for God to bring His hand of judgment upon you. If you are leader who is part of the apostasy come out from among her; if you are a leader who is sitting on the sidelines in utter silence while spiritual havoc is taking place, humble yourself and repent and you too, come out from among her. The days are short – there is no time for any believer to compromise. The Word of God not only helps us to understand our times and the agenda to lead the poor sheep on a path towards spiritual suicide, the Scriptures also give us a clear solution. The harlot is the counterfeit bride that is prepared for the antichrist. Surely we can see this happening. The true Church will not disappear but remain triumphant even though faith in Jesus Christ will be a rare commodity. Come out of her, means just that. If you are caught in the web of deception that has been woven by the many tentacles of the strong delusion, now is the time to be bold and take a stand. In the circles that I have been part of for the last three decades, few pastors that I know are willing to separate from the comfort of their position or the security of their job. Either you are for Jesus Christ, or you are against Him. There is still time to repent and do what is right. Will you be counted in that number? Strange Fire: The Rise of Gnosticism In The Church

This is one little book that may save a soul from walking into the error and falsehood so prevalent in our time.
FOREWORD
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10)
Some books are written before their time. This is one such book. It was never our privilege to know Travers van der Merwe but we had heard of his exemplary walk before God and man while on Earth. While battling cancer, a painful ordeal that lasted for many years, Travers and his wife Jewel penned this book. He saw an ancient heresy arising in the modern Christian church and it weighed heavily on his heart.
After the book was completed, it lay dormant for several years. In the meantime much was happening in the Christian church nationally and internationally to confirm that there was a revival going on - not accompanied by repentance and a turning away from dead works - but of Gnosticism.
Gnosticism has a chameleon-like ability to appear like the genuine article, true Christianity, and thus has managed to transform itself to fit the times in countless new wrappings over the centuries. It particularly adapts itself to that place where the ideas of the east and west meet. Whenever eastern mysticism and western rationalism collide, one can find there the seedbed for a pseudo-Gospel that mimics the real thing.
Gnosticism is fool's gold, shiny and beckoning on the surface, yet phoney. Modern Saints are poorly equipped to recognise the counterfeit. Much Gnosticism enters the Church via the popular Christian media, where the real and the false get mixed up in a garbled soup of doctrines and teachings. The rise of the New Age movement, and the extent to which it has permeated Christian thinking, further clouds the issue. How is a Christian to sort out these strange teachings?
When Jewel first sent us the unpublished manuscript for the book it was because we had been asking her for more information about the rise of modern Gnosticism. The book, she said, would answer many of our questions. Indeed, it did. So many, in fact, that we then began pressing her to let us publish the book. We believed that it should be widely disseminated and read by Christians who were seeking to understand their growing uneasiness with the "new" moves of God, signs and wonders, "laughing revivals", and ecumenical unity.
Strange Fire is a brief, easy-to-understand book that explains how to tell the Truth from the Lie. It doesn't dwell on the spectacular manifestations, but concisely illustrates modern Gnosticism. The real gold of the Gospel is presented in such a way that it outshines the fool's gold of Gnosticism. Readers will have no doubt as to which is which. This handy tool enables even the unlearned to discern Gnosticism the next time they encounter it.

The New Age Agenda
A One World Religion
The Lucis Trust is the Publishing House which prints and disseminates United Nations material. It is a devastating indictment of the New Age and Pagan nature of the UN. Lucis Trust was established in 1922 as Lucifer Trust by Alice Bailey as the publishing company to disseminate the books of Bailey and Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. The title page of Alice Bailey's book, 'Initiation, Human and Solar' was originally printed in 1922, and clearly shows the publishing house as 'Lucifer Publishing Co. In 1923. Bailey changed the name to Lucis Trust, because Lucifer Trust revealed the true nature of the New Age Movement too clearly. (Constance Cumbey, The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow

A quick trip to any New Age bookstore will reveal that many of the hard-core New Age books are published by Lucis Trust.At one time, the Lucis Trust office in New York was located at 866 United Nations Plaza and is a member of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations under a slick program called "World Goodwill". In an Alice Bailey book called "Education for a New Age"; she suggests that in the new age "World Citizenship should be the goal of the enlightened, with a world federation and a world brain." In other words - a One World Government New World Order.
Lucis Trust is sponsored by among others Robert McNamara, former minister of Defence in the USA, president of the World Bank, member of the Rockefeller Foundation, and Thomas Watson (IBM, former ambassador in Moscow). Luci's Trust sponsors among others the following organizations: UN, Greenpeace Int., Greenpeace USA, Amnesty Int. and UNICEF.
The United Nations has long been one of the foremost world harbingers for the "New Spirituality" and the gathering "New World Order" based on ancient occult and freemasonic principles. Seven years after the birth of the UN, a book was published by the theosophist and founder of the Lucis Trust, Alice Bailey, claiming that "Evidence of the growth of the human intellect along the needed receptive lines [for the preparation of the New Age] can be seen in the "planning" of various nations and in the efforts of the United Nations to formulate a world plan... From the very start of this unfoldment, three occult factors have governed the development of all these plans". [Alice B. Bailey, Discipleship in the New Age (Lucis Press, 1955), Vol. II, p.35.]
Although she did not spell out clearly the identity of these 'three occult factors', she did reveal to her students that "Within the United Nations is the germ and seed of a great international and meditating, reflective group - a group of thinking and informed men and women in whose hands lies the destiny of humanity. This is largely under the control of many fourth ray disciples, if you could but realise it, and their point of meditative focus is the intuitional or Buddhic plane - the plane upon which all hierarchical activity is today to be found'. [Ibid. p.220.]
To this end, the Lucis Trust, under the leadership of Foster and Alice Bailey, started a group called 'World Goodwill' - an official non-governmental organization within the United Nations. The stated aim of this group is "to cooperate in the world of preparation for the reappearance of the Christ" [One Earth, the magazine of the Findhorn Foundation, October/November 1986, Vol. 6, Issue 6, p.24.]
But the esoteric work inside the UN does not stop with such recognized occult groupings. Much of the impetus for this process was initiated through the officership of two Secretary-Generals of the UN, Dag Hammarskjöld (held office: 1953-1961) and U Thant (held office: 1961-1971) who succeeded him, and one Assistant Secretary-general, Dr. Robert Muller. In a book written to celebrate the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin (and edited by Robert Muller), it is revealed "Dag Hammarskjöld, the rational Nordic economist, had ended up as a mystic. He too held at the end of his life that spirituality was the ultimate key to our earthly fate in time and space". Sri Chinmoy, the New Age
guru, meditation leader at the UN, wrote: "the United Nations is the chosen instrument of God; to be a chosen instrument means to be a divine messenger carrying the banner of God's inner vision and outer manifestation."William Jasper, author of "A New World Religion" describes the religion of the UN: "...a weird and diabolical convergence of New Age mysticism, pantheism, aboriginal animism atheism, communism, socialism, Luciferian occultism, apostate Christianity, Islam, Taoism, Buddhism, and Hinduism".

Such a plan calls for the total restructuring of planetary civilization into an enlightened One World Federation in which national boundaries and sovereignty are secondary, and 'planetary citizenship' in the 'global village' is the order of the day. This (conspiracy) offers a world in desperate need a grand solution to profound global problems. Apparent world peace and unprecedented opportunities ... are to be unveiled."

Popularized by the American mass media during the late 1980s, this alternative spiritual subculture is interested in such things as spirituality, meditation, channeling, reincarnation, crystals, psychic experience, holistic health, environmentalism, and various “unsolved mysteries” such as UFOs, Earth mysteries and Crop circles.
We saw an example of this kind of thinking in the suicide of 39 members of the Heaven's Gate cult. They believed that human beings evolve from one level to the next and that their bodies simply are "containers" or "vehicles" that carry an eternal spirit and that that the comet Hale-Bopp was a "marker . . . for the arrival of the spacecraft from the Level Above Human to take us home.".
Washington Wizards All around us we are seeing an increase in New Age symbolism. It would seem we are being slowly indoctrinated into its philosophies supported by an acceptance of its symbols. Consider the change from the "Washington Bullets" to "The Washington Wizards" with the symbols of a WIZARD (Warlock or male witch), a crescent moon, and swastika.
The New Age movement has its own peaceful musical style intended to create inspiration, relaxation, and positive feelings, often used by listeners for yoga, massage, inspiration, relaxation, meditation, stress management or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home. New Age music has its roots in the work of 1960s European and American electronic and acoustic musicians exploring music for creating expanded consciousness. In the late 1970s, music began to be recorded specifically for the purposes of meditation and relaxation. During the early 1980s, the term "New Age music" was introduced more widely to the public by radio stations and then by music retailers and some record companies, as a marketing tag applied to a variety of non-mainstream instrumental music styles.
Prominent artists who create New Age music expressly for healing or meditation include Aeoliah, Deuter, Deepak Chopra, and Steven Halpern. Some New Age music artists openly embrace New Age beliefs, while other artists and bands have specifically stated that they do not consider their own music to be New Age, even when their work has been labeled as such by record labels, music retailers, or radio broadcasters. Musicians as varied as George Winston, Dean Evenson, Will Ackerman, Ray Lynch, Suzanne Ciani, Jim Brickman, Enya, B-Tribe, GregZ, Deep Forest, Jean Michel Jarre, Enigma, Kitaro, Yanni, Oscar Lopez, Mike Oldfield and Steve Roach are typically classified as New Age despite their wildly divergent musical styles.
The Battle Plan
The Devil has mapped out a detailed Battle Plan and has passed it on to his demons and those elite men and women whom they have chosen as leaders of the New Age. In his book, Mystery Mark of a New Age Texe Marrs says this Battle Plan includes the following broad goals:
- Christianity will be discredited and Christians will become accursed. They are to be branded an ignorant and inferior human species.
- A planetary crisis will be precipitated by Satan's human world leaders. Out of this crisis will come the opportunity for the New Age Kingdom to be realized.
- A great world leader and statesman will then appear to bring order to chaos. He will be Satan's hand-picked man: the Beast, or Antichrist, with the number 666.
- New Age leaders, especially those who control the world's TV and radio broadcast media, will mount a tremendously powerful campaign on behalf of this World Leader, causing all the world to believe in his perfection and infallibility.
- After assuming the reins of power, the great World Leader will usher in a period of universal peace and prosperity. His magnetism and charisma will enable him to establish himself at the helm of a One World Government, One World Economy, and a One World New Age Religion.
- Consolidating all power and might, the great World Leader will finger Christians and Jews as "public enemies" who are a constant danger to world peace, justice, and sharing. The arrest and imprisonment of Christians will commence. All the world will applaud their persecution.
- Every man, woman, and child who has not yet been initiated into the Mystery of Iniquity will take a mark and receive the "Luciferic Initiation." They will then discover the awful truth, but it will be far too late. Their fate will have been sealed.
- All who refuse the mark and the "Luciferic Initiation" and who refuse to worship the image of the Beast will be put to death.
